The accommodation at Steamboat is divided into two sections; the ski in ski out Mountain Area and Downtown Steamboat. The Mountain Area and Downtown are connected by a free and efficient bus service operating from early morning until late into the night.
The Mountain Area is the modern condominium village at the base of the skiing and snowboarding resort. The accommodation consists of hotels, chalets and condominiums.
The Bronze Tree Condominiums are centrally located just steps from Gondola Square. The two and three bedroom condominiums can comfortably sleep up to eight guests. All condos have full kitchens, generous living areas with cable television, fireplace, private balconies and daily housekeeping services. The Bronze Tree complex has ski and snowboard lockers, a guest laundry, heated swimming pool, outdoor hot tub and private car parking.
The Sheraton Steamboat Resort & Conference Centre has hotel rooms and fully furnished two bedroom condominiums with modern kitchens and large living areas. The Sheraton has a 24 hour front desk, an in-house restaurant and bar, room service, an outdoor heated swimming pool, guest laundry and a ski and snowboard valet.
Just minutes from the slopes the one and two bedroom Storm Watch Condominiums have stylish kitchens, spacious living rooms and large private balconies with mountain views. Guests have access to an outdoor hot tub.
The Winterwood Townhomes have two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens with underfloor heating, an open fireplace, spa bath, ski storage room, laundry and a private shuttle bus running every thirty minutes to and from the lift base area and Downtown Steamboat.
Downtown Steamboat is the western style cowboy town a couple of miles down the road from the ski base area. Generally it is cheaper to stay Downtown than in the Mountain Area with accommodation available in hotels, motels and lodges. Free buses operate during the day and into the evenings linking downtown with the mountain base area.
The Hampton Inn and Suites Steamboat Springs have hotel rooms and suites with king beds. The Inn has complementary cooked breakfasts, a heated swimming pool, three hot tubs and a business centre.
The Rabbit Ears Motel has economical rooms sleeping two, four or six guests. The free bus linking Downtown to the Mountain Area stops directly out the front of the Motel. On site car parking, continental breakfast and wireless internet are included in the price of an overnight stay.
The Nordic Lodge is centrally located in the middle of Downtown Steamboat with rooms having either a king bed, queen bed or two double beds and a fridge, microwave, cable television and full bathroom. The lodge has an indoor hot tub, outdoor heated swimming pool, laundry facilities and a free shuttle bus to and from the ski base area.
