Val d'Isere Accommodation Review

The picturesque and rustic Val d’Isere Village has accommodation in hotels, chalets, apartments and bed and breakfasts. Val d'Isere is a favourite holiday destination for the English so don’t be alarmed by a possible language barrier; practically everyone speaks English.

The 4 star Hôtel l'Aigle des Neiges is centrally located within the village just steps from the slopes. The hotel has modern stylish double and quadruple rooms and spacious suites with mini bars, flat screen televisions, sitting areas, room service and wireless internet. The hotel has two in-house restaurants, a bar, 24 hour reception and concierge service and a day spa with an indoor swimming pool, sauna and massage and beauty treatments.

The 4 star Hotel Avenue Lodge has beautifully decorated wood panelled double rooms and suites with separate lounge areas. All the rooms have deluxe bedding, designer bathrobes and slippers, private balconies, flat screen televisions in the bedroom and bathroom, DVD players and wireless internet. The hotel has an in-house restaurant and bar, a communal lounge with an open fireplace and a day spa with an indoor swimming pool and beauty and hair salon.

The family owned and operated 3 star Hotel Bellier is less than 100 meters from the L’Olympique Cable Car. The hotel has single, double and two room suites with ensuites and satellite televisions. Hotel Bellier has a bar and communal lounge with an open fireplace, a games room and a sauna. The hotel is a half board hotel meaning breakfast and dinner is included in the price of an overnight stay.

The 3 star Hotel Ormelune has double, triple and quadruple uniquely decorated rooms with private balcony’s offering mountain or village views. The centrally located hotel has an in-house restaurant and popular bar, 24 hour reception and concierge service, massage treatments, wireless internet, undercover car parking and a ski and snowboard storage room.

The 2 star Les Crêtes Blanches Val d’Isere is in the heart of the village a short walk from the ski base area. The hotel has spacious guest rooms with ensuites and satellite TVs. Les Crêtes Blanches has a communal lounge and bar with an open fireplace, a breakfast room and a ski and snowboard storage room.

Apartments sleeping from 2 to 8 guests are available to rent at Val d’Isere; most are centrally located and have basic kitchens, lounge rooms and bathrooms. Staying in an apartment can be quite economical as guests have their own kitchen eliminating the expense of dining out every night.

The Pierre & Vacances Les Chalets de Solaise apartments are centrally located with studio and one bedroom apartments sleeping up to five guests. The apartments have fully equipped kitchens, separate dining areas and living rooms with pull out sofa beds. The complex has an outdoor heated swimming pool, a bar, guest laundry, free car parking and wireless internet access at reception.

Le Haut De Rogoney apartments are a short walk from both the ski base area and Val d’Isere’s restaurants, shop and bars.
